Small business website design in English, Spanish or both
We design and build websites for small businesses that want something faster and more solid than a page-builder template. Every site is coded, written for the people you serve, and can launch in English, Spanish or both. This is small business website design with the technical work done properly: structure, speed, search basics and hosting.
A typical website project covers the pieces below. Your written quote lists exactly what's included for your site.
Design and page structure: a sitemap built around the services you sell and the questions your customers ask
Mobile layouts checked on real phones, not just a shrunken desktop page
Speed: hand-written code, compressed images and no pile of plugins or third-party scripts
SEO basics: one clear H1 per page, titles and meta descriptions, a sitemap, structured data and clean URLs
Forms that work: contact and quote forms that save the lead before sending notifications, with spam protection
Analytics such as GA4 or Microsoft Clarity, set up the way you choose
Booking links or a booking form if you work by appointment
Bilingual website design: English and Spanish
If you serve customers in both languages, a translate button isn't enough. Each language needs its own pages, its own URLs and its own titles, so search engines can show the right version to the right person. And the Spanish has to read like it was written in Spanish, because it was.
Two real examples: the Márquez Realty Group property site runs in English, Spanish and French, and the Iglesia Evangélica Nueva Visión church website is fully in Spanish.
Websites we've built
Some of these started from a blank page. Others kept a look the owner already liked, and we rebuilt everything underneath it.
Tulip Landcare
A landscaping company's WordPress/Elementor site rebuilt from scratch in Next.js. Every page moved over, the city pages kept their original URLs to protect existing rankings, and old WordPress links redirect in a single hop.
Rachelle's Cleaning Services
A house-cleaning site built to rank city by city, with distinct local content on each city page, a multi-step quote form, and an owner dashboard that sends push notifications to the owner's phone.
Truth In Beauty
A skincare studio's site moved off a page builder. We kept the studio's existing look and rebuilt what's underneath: one H1 per page, one canonical address, real content in place of leftover demo text, plus a blog and an online store.
Lena's Wreath Decor and Donna Rodrigues
An online store for a handmade-wreath maker who ships across the US, and an author's website with a signed-book store. Both owners manage products and orders from their own admin.
Márquez Realty Group
A property website in English, Spanish and French for a Baja California brokerage, with appointment booking and listing feeds.
Call. We talk about your business, your customers and what the site has to do.
Sitemap and content. We agree on the pages, then gather or write the copy.
Design. Key pages first, on a private preview link.
Build. The full site on that same preview link, so you can check it on your own phone.
Launch. Domain, DNS, SSL, redirects from old URLs, and the sitemap submitted to Google Search Console.
Hosting. We can keep the site running and up to date.
Hosting included, or bring your own
We can host your site on our own servers and handle the domain, DNS, SSL certificate, email records and nightly off-site backups, with one person to contact when something's wrong. Details are on our managed website hosting page. If you'd rather keep your current host, that works too.
Moving off Wix, WordPress or another platform
Several of the sites above started on WordPress or a page builder. We move the content, keep or redirect every old URL to protect your links and rankings, and check the email records (MX, SPF, DKIM) before the domain moves.
We can. We write in plain language from what you tell us on a call, and you review every page before launch. If you already have copy, we edit it for clarity and search. Either way, we don't add claims about your business that you can't back up.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes, if you want to. Depending on the site, that's an admin with a content editor for the blog, services and projects, as on Tulip Landcare, or an in-browser editor locked to admins, as on iLights Modern. If you'd rather email changes to us, that works too.
Can my site be in Spanish too?
Yes. We build bilingual sites with separate English and Spanish pages, each with its own URL and title, and the Spanish is written natively, not run through a translator.
Who hosts the site?
We can, on our own servers, with SSL, DNS, email records and nightly off-site backups handled. You can also keep your own hosting; we'll deploy the site wherever you prefer.
What do you need from me?
Your logo and colors if you have them, a list of your services and the areas you serve, photos of your real work, access to your domain registrar and current site, and someone who can answer questions and approve pages.
Do you use templates?
We don't build on page builders; every site is coded. Some projects keep a look the client already had, from their old theme or template, and we rebuild what's underneath, as we did for Truth In Beauty and the Nueva Visión church site. Our case studies say when that's the case.
