Truth In Beauty: a skincare studio website, store and admin on one domain
Truth In Beauty is an organic skincare and esthetics studio in Stockton, California. We moved its site off a page builder, rebuilt it cleanly, and added an online skincare store, customer accounts and an admin back office on the same domain. Visit truthinbeauty.love.

The rebuild
The visual design is the theme the studio already used. Our work was making it a clean, fast site underneath.
A static rebuild off the old page builder
One valid head and one H1 per page, and a single canonical host
Real content in place of leftover theme demo text
BeautySalon, BlogPosting and FAQPage structured data, a sitemap and robots.txt
A skincare blog with an RSS feed
The online store
The store lives on the studio's own domain, next to the website, and is managed from the same admin as the blog.
Catalog and product pages, cart and checkout
Card payments through Stripe, plus PayPal and Venmo
Customer accounts
Order online, pick up at the studio
The admin
This admin became the starting point for our reusable XOLBY admin template, which we now use for other client back offices in our web development portfolio, including the Donna Rodrigues site.
Products, orders, customers, coupons and gift cards
A blog with AI writing tools
Analytics and settings
The day's bookings on the overview screen
Transactional email templates
Stack and services
Static HTML for the marketing pages, and a Next.js app with PostgreSQL for the store, customer accounts and admin. Payments run through Stripe, PayPal and Venmo, and the site is served by Netlify.
Can a studio sell products online and offer pickup?
Yes. This store supports ordering online with pickup at the studio, alongside regular checkout.
Did you design the site?
No. The visual design is the theme the studio already had. We rebuilt everything under it, cleaned up the structure and content, and added the store and the admin.
Which payment options does the store support?
Card payments through Stripe, plus PayPal and Venmo.
Can I write blog posts with AI help?
The admin's blog includes AI writing tools, inside the same editor where posts are reviewed and published.
