Donna Rodrigues: an author website and signed-book store
Donna Rodrigues is the author of the novel Finding Everleigh and the children's book The Mysterious Mysteries of Mr. Ri. We built her website and a store for signed copies on our reusable XOLBY admin template, with the modules she needs switched on. Visit donnarodrigues.com.

Built from the XOLBY admin template
Instead of starting from zero, this project uses our XOLBY admin template. Per-client module switches and runtime theming mean the admin shows only what the business uses and matches its brand. Shared modules, like checkout and orders, come from the same template, which started as the admin we built for Truth In Beauty.
An AI blog engine, ready when needed
The platform includes an AI blog engine: an idea pipeline, AI drafts, scheduled publishing and AI hero images, along with AI guides. On this site it's installed as a module that can be switched on as the author needs it.
Stack and services
A Next.js app with Prisma, NextAuth, Stripe, PayPal and Resend, deployed on Netlify.
Can an author sell signed books from their own website?
Yes. This store sells signed copies directly, with checkout, coupons, gift cards and order tracking in the author's own admin.
What's a module switch?
Each feature in the admin, like the store, reviews or the blog engine, is a module. We turn on only the ones a client needs and can switch more on later without a rebuild.
Can the author edit the site without a developer?
Yes. The admin includes a site builder for page copy and images.
Does a template mean the site looks like everyone else's?
No. The template is the admin behind the scenes. Runtime theming gives each client its own look, and the public site is built for that client.
